You see a guy twisting another guys arm and the other guy flip over unrealistically, but if the other guy doesn't flip. of course they had the advantage in locks and throws but all i was think was jab and move they couldn't set up because i kept moving. once they penerated my jab my straight right was waiting with open arms, i never tried to hit them full power, since it was a sparing/demonsration but those arts don't prepare you to get hit. and thats what fight is about being about to take more punishment than the other guy

i tried taking taijutsu and since there weren't that man people i had to train with the black belts , I tried to explain to them that a boxing punch is more effective than the retarded shit they were trying to teach, they had me demonsrate my punching technique and i did a simple jab cross and floored the guy , we can just say that i retired from taijustu and stuck to boxing, because i didn't want to get fucked up doing shit that didn't work, same goes for half the fake martial arts out there

Although I loved Simm as The Master it always feels he is a bit too insane. Delgado and Ainley had elements of madness but at the same time they where chilling and gentlemen like. Jacobi, in his brief appearance as The Master captured The Master beautifully. The anger matched with the knowledge and madness. forms are good in that they discipline you and give a drills that are useful. plus, if you want to show off to a friend u'll have something to show them. but in a true fight, fancy flips most of the time wont be effective enough. thats why i train in muay boran. it is simple practical and extremely efficient

Sho Kosugi was actually the star but it was not feasible to put an Asian actor in a leading role. Kung Fu the series was initially intended for Bruce Lee but just like Lee Van Cleef they got an american actor with facial features (eyes) as an Asian. Very stereotypical. Just like Frank Nero in "Enter The Ninja". He never did any of the real ninja fight scenes and worst of all just because he was the good guy and white, his ninja suit was white. @Jrotten11 Stupid, I wouldn't really call it, silly, yes. It's comic relief; with these parts in books, plays, etc. they put a little light hearted part in so that it changes the mood up a little so it's not the same thing all the time for variety, but also because when it goes back to the dramatic parts it seems worse because with the comic relief you don't become desensitized to everything else going on.

Fair enough. I think as an introduction to the character it's fine, to be honest. As I said, as far as I'm concerned, the fact that he's "watering the wine, making up the weight, picking up their knick knacks when they can't see straight" is fairly well communicated as directed at the audience rather than his patrons. What must also be borne in mind is that this is a concert, not a performance. In the real staging of it, he sings out to the audience while the customers drink obliviously.
