It was a really fast procedure and im not gonna lie it did kinda hurt and i had cramps all day long but ive seriously never felt happier! I completely hear you on hormonal reactions- I and a lot of other friends I have, have experienced the neg effect of birth control pills. Personally, I recommend checking out the benefits of Sympto-thermal method of NFP because it is completely healthy and 99% reliable (2007 German study). The sad truth about the IUD is that it doesn't prevent conception- it prevents a conceived life from implanting on the uterus. It causes an early abortion :( and can cause infertility and or endometriosis.

I honestly think that many of the "disorders", mental or otherwise, are the result of hormonal issues.... Maybe ONE day someone who gives a shit enough to research this will have a great "eureka" (not vacuum--why?) doctoral dissertation. I was on mycrogynol, ( which is the general brand here in Holland) when I first started birth control, and that was a bitch, gave me headaches, crappy moods and made me nauseous. I'm on Yasmin now, which is a lot better for me, since my period pain is less worse ( I had really bad pains), but one of the rejections I first had against birth control ( the pill-kind) was the hormones. it would freak me out that I'd be messing with my own natural hormones like that. That makes a lot of sense, I went through the same exact thing. I was on Yaz for about a year and went through a crazy depressive stage of my life. Now that I am off it I feel so much happier and back to my normal peppy self. I since will never suggest birth control to my friends since it gave me such a horrible experience. Remember that Marilyn Monroe had a mole and it was considered a "beauty mark". But lets assume she DOES want to get rid of them. Yeah if it wasn't so expensive I would get an IUD, but I get the nuva ring for free from my dr. And it's not so much the chemicals in birth control I'm personally worried about as the side effects that I got from the specific chemicals that were in yasmin.

I'm sure you know that the Nuva Ring uses hormones just like "the pill" does. So even though you aren't having the same side effects you used to, you are still running the risks that are associated with hormone birth control. That's whats so great about the IUD, it's not chemical but physical instead.

I think the maternity type shirts are for the benefit of the...heavier set population. Just my opinion. I don't see why a slim person would want to hide their figure with a baggy waist. It just doesn't make sense to me. But, for those who are self conscious of their figure...Baggy is a good option, I guess.

You just have to avoid ROSS. Try target--they are less pricey and have other styles of jeans in addition to the unflattering 'skinny jean'. Bootleg cuts are very forgiving and they usually have those. Delias also sells cheap jeans though I've never worn them so I can't say much about them. Old navy sometimes has great jean sales and they have many cuts to choose from. Personally, I'm a Lucky girl and always will be. Don't worry, you won't have to wait 4 years to buy clothes :)

In my highschoolyears - which ended just this year LOL- the goths wore really big and wide legged trousers. Which look horrible on pretty much anyone. I must confess- I wore those too XD I love the skinny jeans though, because they make me look taller XD I am a fan of the peasant blouses, but only because I feel so comfy in them. Yeah, I too haven't seen too many maternity-type billowy shirts around anymore. Sometimes Ross can be a couple of years behind in styles, since they get cast-offs. I'd advise checking out Marshalls/TJ Maxx if you have some near you for jeans and tops...they usually have a good mix of trendy and classic things at good prices. Try to avoid the junior's section in general...those clothes are for 13 year olds and are sized and proportioned accordingly (i.e. not cut for adult female curves). :)

I was stuck with the usually "recommended" workout plan of 3x12 at a point, and 1 year ago I switched to something called "PITT". That means you do 20 repetitions, with little rests inbetween each rep. That way you can almost use your 1rep maximum weight. And for me my progress showed me that this is the way for me to build muscle. You should try to do a little pause after your 10 reps and then squeeze out some more reps. ;-)

I use the leg press machine at the gym and lift 270 lbs (starting out as a pretty beginner lifter). So, I bet you can use pretty high weight, and a leg press machine might be the safest way to do so. Maybe I'll make a video showing some killer leg exercises I do at home when I can't make it to the gym.

I've read over and over again that if you're weight training and trying to build muscle each day you should consume 0.8 to 1.2 grams of protein per pound that you weigh. Who knows what studies to believe? But from my personal experience, it is absolutely true and I've never felt healthier.

Ohman... I love listening to trance when I run (It's not techno!!!) You could try the thrillseekers .... stuff like "mr. blue" "reflect" "square one" or "morning after"? I just think all his first two Nightmusic albums are perfect for running. But it sounds like you want to listen to songs with singing :/ ... there's some good trance songs with vocals too like "sincere for you" or "always a fool"... Hope you don't hate these suggestions!

I am no Dj and I workout for fun so my Ipod is my partner most days. I always thought A Perfect Circle Mer De Noms has a great tempo to run to and lift . Nine Inch Nails with teeth is a good one. If you need something to really get you pumped or push you Try Hatebreed perseverance its a ton of bricks in your ear. Then if you like oldies man the Ramones and Kid Rock . Deftones around the fur. Of course who can forget Rage atm . People in the gym or trail will think you are a beast!!!

Maybe you like Arctic Monkeys, almost all there songs are GREAT for running. I always listen to arctic monkeys when I go running, when the sun goes down, crying lightning and space invaders are the beste run-songs, in my opinion. Do NOT run to the music of the bangles, really gets you out of your rythm.

Im the same with my laptop ha ha! My whole screen has come apart from the keyboard on the laptop and it's just a tiny wire keeping it together and it's still working ha. Plus the other day I tripped over the wire and snapped the charger in half and sent the laptop flying and the screen still survived ! It sounds like your computer will be lucky to make it to Xmas! ;-p As for music, remember that there are lots of sub genres of techno. There are tons of techno songs I love, and tons I hate. Go to Pandora(dot)com and put in the title of a techno song you DO like. It will take that song and find other songs that are acoustically similar. Each time it plays a new song, you give it a thumbs up or down to refine its playlist. And after a while, you'll have a playlist of songs you love!

I think you just happened to encounter some strange girl who thinks it sounds cool to do that. I know EXACTLY what you mean. I eat the "Amy's" frozen dinners at work and a lot of tofu and people look at me like I'm a nut. My father is actually the worst about it- he's the type of guy who eats meat with every meal and grew up on a farm- so he pretty much thinks I'm a freak for eating health food. He also tries to come up with all these bogus "facts" about how the fact that I'm vegetarian is not healthy for me....yada yada. Hard to ignore- but that's what we have to do I guess.

It is horrible! I try to go to the gym everyday and people say to me holy why do you go to the gym so much! Like its a bad thing to do or something haha I try to watch what i eat also and people look down apon me for that too! I live in Florida, and although as you saw, people "surf" on the east coast, people don't come here to surf. The outdoor things we do here are just hanging out at the beach, fishing, scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing. Oh, and a lot of people play golf. And btw, even though we have lots of alligators, its really rare for them to attack. They are no where near as aggressive as crocs are. You are far more likely to get attacked by a shark here, and even the chance of that is tiny.

She doesnt give the name, but I'm pretty sure I know which one it is. I think it was called "end of the world", and was a hand-drawn Flash animation about the world being destroyed by nukes, but done humourously. If it IS the same vid, it would have been better for her to use the line "fuckin' kangaroos", since that might have been more recognizable...

If you do the research you will find it is shocking and staggering how many famous leaders did not. Amazing world famous people dropped out of college. It's not the education you get, it's what you do with your life. Just like high school is different than college, college is different than life.

Hi! I'm from Europe (not Britain) and I totally don't understand the American educational system. So can I ask a couple of questions? First, at what age do you finish high school? What is "major"? Is it common to study the Master's degree? How long does it take? And did you study film for one or two years - I thought that for 1 year, but in the discussion here you say that you wasted 2 years...? Bachelor's Degrees are designed for four years, and a lot of students take five years to complete it. So, yes, we're old when we graduate. I'm a perfect example. I started out as a film major, so two years of classes were wasted. Now I'm getting an engineering degree in five years, so I'll be in undergrad for seven years total. I'll be 25 when I graduate.

Community college is still for graduated high school students who are 18. Or if they haven't graduated from high school they can get a different diploma called a GED from the community college. They are smaller and less expensive. They offer basic "core" classes that every student, no matter what they're studying, needs to take, and they usually only offer a 2 year degree instead of the more common 4 year degree.

I have been an early subscriber of yours, and can honestly say I have never thought of the word "spoiled" when watching any of your vids. You have made it clear from past videos that you dont have a lot of money. So its nice to see you get some luxuries of life, even if it is just in the form of sunglasses. Personally, I could never justify spending the money on Oakleys. I buy sunglasses that are $5-$20. I had a friend buy a $125 pair of Oakleys which she lost within a month of buying! Ouch!

if they were truly christians, they wouldn't be judging people. Different situation of course, but for example i dress in an alternative style. people in my church have never liked it but as they were condemning me for being me I tried to respond in a nice way but I made sure to bring to their attention that theyre being offensive and they have no right to judge anyone. you'd be surprised how attitudes changed over time Maybe they still dont agree with it but they're more respectful now.

when i left highschool my brother paid me to look after his little girl while he and his wife worked. I was always being judged when i was out with the baby, people assumed she was mine. At first i would tell everyone she wasnt but after a while i thought stuff it, who cares? When people said something ignorant i just kept walking. x

For what it's worth, I think that was very well said, and, as much as I would like to say that no one should give a crap about what ignorant people say or think, the unfortunate truth is that it does affect the rest of us (not saying I can't be ignorant too sometimes ;) . Oh man I know how you feel. I was an engineering major (although it was in CS). Finals sucked so much. It was a crappy 2 weeks. But the best part is when it's over and you have all winter break to enjoy. That was the best feeling and I remember it well.

Im sorry but food in US is sooooooo tasty good. Its easy to get fat hihi. Make a smart grocery, and cook mainly with the vegetables you have. Best tips i can give.

Weight watchers is awesome! I did it and it totally turned my life around. It was not like a diet it was like a lifestyle change. It teaches you how to eat regularly but in a way that you are healthy. And it takes the focus off of diet restrictions.

I'm glad that you're feeling better. How you feel in your body is the most important thing. I started NutriSystem in the beginning of September. Their plan focuses more on portion sizes then anything else. I've lost 23lbs since then and I've learned a lot about what I should be eating in 1 day. So, I recommend NutriSystem also!
